Little Johnny was left in control of babysitting his toddler sister one Saturday morning whereas his mom and father went out to do some grocery purchasing.
To move the time and remedy his boredom, Johnny determined to move right down to the native creek for a little bit of fishing. Left with no alternative, he reluctantly packed up his child sister and hauled her together with him.
Later that afternoon, his mother and father returned residence to seek out Johnny sitting on the porch, trying utterly depressing.
“I’m by no means, ever doing that once more!” Johnny grumbled to his mom. “I didn’t catch a single factor all day!”
His mom smiled sympathetically and stated, “Oh, don’t be discouraged, honey. I’m positive it was only a fluke. Subsequent time, your little sister will know to sit down quietly so she doesn’t frighten the fish away.”
Johnny rolled his eyes, shook his head, and snapped:
“It wasn’t that she was making noise, Mother. She ate all of the rattling bait!”
