The Tactical Landing

After a spectacularly brutal touchdown that shook the fillings out of the passengers’ tooth, the pilot instantly jumped on the PA system: “Sorry for the tough experience, of us. It wasn’t my fault—blame it on the asphalt.”

Nevertheless, strict airline coverage dictated that the captain needed to stand on the cabin door and personally apologize to each single passenger strolling off the aircraft. He stood there smiling by his tooth, repeating, “Thanks for flying with us, sorry in regards to the touchdown,” again and again.

The aircraft emptied out till just one tiny, aged girl was left, slowly shuffling towards the exit with a cane and a closely adjusted listening to help.

She stopped proper in entrance of the captain, appeared him up and down, and requested, “Sonny, do you thoughts if I ask you a fast query?”

“Under no circumstances, ma’am,” the pilot replied politely. “Go proper forward.”

“I didn’t fairly catch the announcement again there,” she whispered. “Did we really land, or had been we shot down?”
