The Divine Clearance Sale

God was placing the ending touches on creation and had simply two leftover traits. He determined to let Adam and Eve select who bought what.

“The primary trait,” God introduced, “is the power to pee standing up.”

Earlier than God may even end, Adam began leaping up and down like an excited schoolboy. “Oh, please give that to me! It’s excellent for a person! Please, please, please!”

Eve smiled graciously and shrugged. “If he desires it that badly, let him have it.”

So, God granted Adam his want. Adam instantly went wild with pleasure—whizzing in opposition to a rock, writing his title within the sand, and shouting, “Look, Eve, I’m a garden sprinkler!”

God and Eve watched his chaotic victory lap in amused silence. Lastly, God turned to Eve and sighed, “Effectively, I assume that leaves you with the final trait.”

“What’s that?” Eve requested.

God smiled and replied:

“Brains.”
