A person was strolling alongside a lonely seashore when he kicked a dusty outdated brass lamp. He picked it up, rubbed it, and to his amazement, a strong genie erupted from the spout in a cloud of smoke.
The genie boomed, “I’m the spirit of the lamp! For liberating me, I’ll grant you precisely one want.”
The person considered it and stated, “I completely hate flying, however I like driving my bike. I want so that you can construct an enormous, paved freeway spanning all the best way from California to Hawaii so I can trip there each time I would like.”
The genie shook his head in disbelief. “Are you loopy? Are you aware the sheer logistics of that? The ocean is miles deep, the quantity of concrete wanted would utterly destroy the worldwide ecosystem, and the metal helps would spoil the marine habitat! It’s an environmental nightmare. Please, ask for one thing else—something throughout the realm of motive.”
The person sighed, thought for a second, and stated, “Alright, tremendous. I want to utterly perceive how ladies suppose. I need to know precisely how they really feel, why they cry over nothing, what they imply after they say ‘I’m tremendous,’ and find out how to make them really joyful.”
The genie stared on the man in shocked silence for an extended second, rubbed his temples, and at last muttered:
“So… did you need that freeway to be two lanes or 4?”
