A person was strolling alongside the seaside, deep in prayer, when he stated,
“Lord, please grant me one want.”
A voice from heaven replied,
“You’ve been devoted. I’ll grant you one want.”
The person stated,
“Construct me a bridge to Hawaii so I can drive there at any time when I need.”
The Lord answered,
“That’s an enormous request! Take into consideration the engineering, the supplies, and all these miles of ocean. I might do it… however ask for one thing slightly simpler.”
The person thought for a second.
“Okay… then I need to perceive ladies. I need to know what they’re considering, what they’re feeling, why they are saying ‘nothing’ when one thing is clearly fallacious… and methods to make them really joyful.”
There was an extended silence.
Then the Lord replied,
“So… about that bridge…”
“Would you want two lanes or 4?”
